MEININGER Brussels City Center is a mega-hostel if we’ve ever seen one. This massive 700+ room hostel has everything a budget traveler in Brussels might desire, including both small and large dorms and private rooms.

The funky hostel, which was once a brewery, is located about 15 minutes walk from the Grand Palace and a 15 minute tram ride from the Midi Train Station so you won’t have to waste a lot of time or money seeing all the sites Brussels has to offer.

Though the hostel is massive, it’s surprisingly easy to meet other travelers. There is an onsite bar, outdoor space, lobby, and upstairs dining area that are all great spaces for socializing.

Guests at the MEININGER hostel can opt to partake in an all you can eat breakfast buffet, or can prepare their own meals in their small, but nicely outfitted self-serve kitchen. They even have washers and dryers for anyone who may need to refresh their wardrobe.
