During our two weeks in Barcelona we slowly and inevitably fell in love with the city. Its beautiful architecture, historic landmarks, energy, and people will always have a fond place in our hearts. We took hundreds of photos like the gawking admirers that we were. Below are some of our favorite pictures. We hope they inspire you to visit Spain and Barcelona.

Barcelona Landmarks

More than just Gaudi buildings, Barcelona has a plethora of other landmarks to marvel at, including the Castle of Montjuic, the Arc de Triomf and many more.

Antoni Gaudí

Barcelona is filled with buildings designed by the Catalan genius/ architect Antoni Gaudí. From the awe-inspiring (and perpetually under construction) Sagrada Familia to Casa Batlló to La Pedrera and many more, hundreds of thousands flock to this city to see Gaudí’s work every year. And you should too.

Art in the Streets of Barcelona

Never in our lives have we seen so much terrific street art in one city. It’s everywhere and gives Barcelona a cool, edgy, and modern feel. Additionally, and unlike in NYC, no one seems to be covering up these works of art.

Out and About in Barcelona

Barcelona is a great city to explore, not too big to walk around in and not so small that you will get bored quickly. We only took public transportation once in the two weeks we were there because each walk afforded new and impressive sites. Here are just a few of the things we saw while out and about.
