Nice France Best Hostels

The Best Hostels in Nice, France

Are you looking for the best hostels in Nice? You’ve come to the right place!

Nice, the capital of French Côte d’Azur, is situated around the gorgeous Bay of Angels. It is maybe best known for its glamour, and electric blue waters, which attract visitors pretty much year round. It is an excellent place to breathe in a bit of Mediterranean air while engaging with French culture and lifestyle.

Even though its renowned for its nightlife, Nice has much to offer during the day too. You can party well into the night or spend your days at the beach, walking along the promenade, or drinking coffee and eating delicious pastries while people watching in one of the many cafes. Or you can deep dive into the city, exploring nooks and crannies and walking up to the Castle Hill for a spectacular view of the port and the bay (especially for a sunset!).

However, if you decide to pack your bags and head to Nice la Belle or Nice the Beautiful, how the French call it, you should know that accommodation options aren’t exactly budget friendly. It’s a city fully loaded with elegant boutique accommodations and prestigious hotels, most of them well out of price range for budget travelers.

So…If you are traveling with three or more people we recommend Airbnb. If you are a group of ten or more, and you’re lucky, you might find hostels offering discount rates for groups. And if you are traveling in Nice solo, or with a friend, and you want to do so without busting your budget we highly suggest staying in a hostel.

Wouldn’t you know it, we have a list of great hostels in Nice right here! We’ve put together this list based on what we personally expect out of a great hostel. Clean rooms, comfortable dorm beds with power outlets, secure luggage storage, friendly atmosphere that encourages interaction (but doesn’t force it), and a communal kitchen are all super important aspects in our eyes, and we prioritize them when suggesting a place to stay. All of these are factors when it comes to making our selection of the best hostels in Nice France.

Without further ado, here are the best hostels in Nice for backpackers and budget travelers.
